General Labourer

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a General Laborer at Robinson Excavating and Trucking Limited. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including traffic control, hand shoveling, site layout, site grades, vehicle cleaning, vehicle fueling, general labor, and operating diesel compactors.

 

Responsibilities:

Direct traffic on and around the construction site to ensure safety of workers and the public

Perform manual labor tasks such as hand shoveling and lifting materials

Assist in site layout and grading activities

Clean and maintain vehicles and equipment

Fuel vehicles and equipment as needed

Operate diesel compactors in a safe and efficient manner

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

 

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in construction or related field preferred

Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects

Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment

Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as needed

AZ/DZ Driver

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced AZ/DZ Truck Driver to join our team at an excavating construction site. The primary responsibilities of this role include floating equipment to and from job sites, delivering aggregate materials, vehicle cleaning, and vehicle fueling.

 

Responsibilities:

Operate and drive trucks to transport equipment and materials to and from construction sites

Load and unload goods or materials, secure loads, and make sure they are safely stowed

Deliver aggregate materials such as gravel, sand, and soil to job sites

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, and report any issues or malfunctions

Clean and maintain trucks and equipment

Fuel vehicles as needed

Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws

Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation

 

Requirements:

Valid AZ/DZ driver's license with a clean driving record

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver, preferably in the construction industry

Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws

Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks

Attention to detail and strong work ethic

Equipment Operator

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Operator to join our team at Robinson Excavating and Trucking Limited. The primary responsibilities of this role include site layout, site grades, equipment greasing, equipment cleaning, and equipment fueling. The operator will be responsible for operating a variety of equipment including but not limited to bulldozers, rollers, excavators, skid steers, loaders, crushers, screening plants, and more.

 

Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner to achieve project goals

Perform site layout and grading activities according to project specifications

Grease, clean, and fuel equipment as needed

Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

 

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in the construction industry

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Experience with a variety of equipment including bulldozers, rollers, excavators, skid steers, loaders, crushers, screening plants, etc.

Ability to read and interpret site plans and grade stakes

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
